--Buying 2 pencil sharpeners for GPS teacher work room, Laura motioned, Joni seconded. (This was decided @ May meeting but no formal motion was made)
Treasurer’s Report:
-beginning balance: $18,921.20
-ending balance: $8,988.32
-Reimbursements/Payments:
Elliot Bay-$7021.88: fundraiser, US Treasury-$400.00: Tax papers, Sarah Conroy-$633.45: reimbursements for spirit wear, carnival, etc, Mary Ruth Bks.-$100.00 teacher gift (Reed), Missoula-$2,100.00:remaining balance, Doug Maynard-$200.00: Math night.
Faculty Report:
End of the year assembly, PTO giving out popsicles, Stelljes wants to use the Campbell’s soup points for ordering playground equipment-whatever is ordered has to benefit the entire student body, Sarah will e-mail Laura the total points.
Old Business:
-Cheetahwear: $167.00 of unsold shirts/sweatshirts, surprised by big support from teachers ordering, decided we (PTO) needs to be at the Back to School Bash and the Klickitat Co. Fair.
-Missoula Children’s Theatre: Next time, pick a play with less dialog from the adults, look into the Grange or MS stage performance options, over the summer research new ideas, new companies, less expensive, set TENATIVE date for 2010/2011: last week in February.
-Math night: move to September…date set: Sept. 23rd, more help is needed
-501(c)(3) status: currently processing applications from December 2009, hoping companies will accept pending applications
New Business:
-Meeting dates: a motion was made to change meeting dates to Thursday nights, still @ 6pm. Laura motioned to accept, Joni seconded.
-ElliottBay Fundraiser: PTO has decided to sign up for the Fall fundraiser, September 16th kickoff. Purpose: PTO Spring Carnival
-Elections: decided to move elections to the September 2nd meeting, hoping to get more parent involvement at the beginning of the school year.

-Joni brought “Minute-to-Win-it” game idea to the table. She explained and gave out rules sheet.
-Talent Show-community event, PTO board members also participating (glow stick dancing)
-$616.86 deposit for __________, $513.24 reimburse to Sarah Conroy, Katy motion to accept, Laura seconded.
