Welcome to the
GoldendalePrimary School

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

What is the PTO, you ask?  The Goldendale Primary school PTO is a nonprofit organization whose membership includes all of our current parents, guardians, teachers and staff.  The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in the classroom setting, holds fundraisers for supplemental educational materials/experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.  The PTO supports the educational goals of the school and the students reap the benefits.

It may seem, sometimes, that we do a lot of fundraising.  We do!  We strive to bridge the gap between what our school needs and what it can afford.  We provide and sponser the extracurricular activities that our children enjoy so much (OMSI assemblies, after school movies, carnivals, etc.).  We are also working on purchasing a $12,990 WeatherBug weather station this year.  You can check it out at http://weather.weatherbug.com/weather-education/about/?focus=1.  Our kids, from kindergarten through 12th grade,  will be able to connect with 8000 other schools across the country!  Watch for more information coming home with your students.

We are busy parents and guardians like you who wish to make a positive difference in the lives of our children.
